No one wants to pay more for Home Insurance than they have to, especially in a state like Florida where homeowners insurance has a few unique things to consider.
What affects your life insurance premiums? These factors all contribute to how much of a risk you are to insurance companies and therefore, how high your premium may be.
There will be two Insurance Villages this week, which will include MOST of our carriers. An insurance village, is simply a group of insurance companies, bringing in their mobile response teams in one place a village to answer questions, open claims, etc
Dishonest contractors pressure unsuspecting homeowners into signing contracts that include these Assignment of Benefits (AOB) clauses. What you want to look for are phrases like, "I transfer and assign any and all insurance rights, benefits and causes of action under my property insurance policy to the contractor" or something along those lines.
The Culbertson Agency of Fort Myers is a sponsor for the City of Palms Classic basketball tournament happening at the Florida SouthWestern State College's Suncoast Credit Union arena from December 18th to the 23rd.
Refuge Church (Located at 1901 Brantley Road in Forty Myers, FL behind the Eager Beaver Car Wash) is collecting school supplies for locally underprivileged students. Will you help us fill 150 or more backpacks?
The Culbertson Agency prides itself in is that we consistently make the top lists in our industry and recently, one of our Naples insurance agents was featured in Five Star Professionals portion of the Gulfshore Magazine.
When food was mysteriously disappearing in the Culbertson family's kitchen, they decided to catch their dog Yogi in the act. After being encouraged to upload the video to America's Funniest Home Videos, Brian Culbertson thought it would never win.
We're giving $1,000 to the Hoops on Mission through a grant from a foundation as a part of the Hands in the Community Program.
Best things to do in Fort Myers whether you're on vacation or staycation. These are attractions that the city of Fort Myers offers to those who are looking for fun diversions for them, their family, or fun date ideas.
Recently, I visited Belize (neat country by the way) doing some short term mission work with a small team of four guys. One of our projects was to clean a metal roof of an orphanage that had thick black mold growing on it, causing the home to retain heat and not reflect the sun as it should. Keep working. Keep figuring it out. Keep making movement. Develop strategies and new techniques. Don’t give up when you’re tired, and things don’t seem to be going as you’d expect. Before you know it you’ll start to figure it out, and eventually you might just be an expert roof scrubber, or whatever it is you’ve set your mind to achieving.
This is touted as being the vacation-go-er’s movie theater and an upscale movie going experience. Located in Bonita, it’s near enough to Naples to warrant being upscale to attract the generally upper-scale locals and that’s a good thing if you live in Fort Myers and don’t mind a bit of a drive. The building the theater is one of the better-looking in the area, since it has a bit of a Mediterranean flair to it including an outdoor fire or water fountain where you can sit and enjoy a little time before or after your movie.
If you’re like me, you like great movies, but you also want to see it in a great movie theater where the picture, sound, and theater create a perfect opportunity for the movie to suck you in and get lost in it’s story, characters, and world. As I’m writing this, we’re all anticipating Star Wars: The Force Awakens to take us back a long, long time ago to that galaxy far, far away, so I’ve decided to assemble a list of my favorite movie theaters here in Fort Myers and Naples.
Hi, I’m Brian Culbertson, a 40-year old, middle-aged, dad of three girls who was recently diagnosed with high cholesterol and a body weight of slightly above the “ideal,” whatever that means. Frankly, I’m lucky to have a decent metabolism because my eating habits the last few years have been lacking, and while I haven’t exactly been a couch potato, I haven’t exactly been a treadmill tomato either. You see, when I opened my first Allstate insurance agency here in Southwest Florida way back in 2008, I was in the best shape of my adult life. I was working out 5-6 times per week, and I was making mostly good eating choices. But life happens, and somehow here we are 7-years later, 25 pounds heavier, and cholesterol steadily rising.
