Saturday, January 23rd, saw the eagles on the Pritchett property in North Fort Myers off of Bayshore welcome two of their eggs hatch at the same time.

Two newly hatched eaglets became the stars of the Harriet and M15 show in North Fort Myers Sunday, sitting in the nest off Bayshore Road, making demands of food to their parents and drawing interest online and in person.

The rare double hatch day on Saturday of the eagle couple’s new offspring, named E17 and E18, could be seen as the pink and gray chicks emerged from their shells.
